DESCRIPTION:Your Community Garden needs volunteers!\nYou”ll be helping to beautify and maintain the garden by pulling weeds\, planting seeds\, moving dirt\, learning about our sustainable systems\, and more. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for ways to get involved with the community or to simply spend an afternoon in the urban outdoors\nThe specific dates and locations are as follows:\n– Saturday\, April 10th\, 12pm: La Plaza Community Garden (SW corner 9th St. & Ave C)\n– Saturday\, May 8th\, 12pm: La Plaza Community Garden (SW corner 9th St. & Ave C)\n– Saturday\, June 12th\, 12pm: La Plaza Community Garden (SW corner 9th St. & Ave C)\n\nPlease dress for the weather and wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes. Volunteers may also want to bring water bottles and hats. Masks will be required for participation.
